Elizabeth Grant is an associate professor at the School of Architecture + Design and the Associate Director of the Center for High-Performance Environments at Virginia Tech. She has written Integrating Building Performance with Design: An Architecture Student’s Guidebook, and papers in Buildings & Cities, Architectural Science Review, the Journal of Green Building, the Journal of Architectural Engineering, Interface, and Professional Roofing. She co-holds two patents for a roof vent and is active in roofing research.
As a registered architect, Grant’s design experience includes healthcare, civic, and educational work. Her ongoing research, teaching, and outreach interests focus on environmental design, the building envelope, and building systems integration.
